Our Ethos

When creating Ambaar Bazaar it was without question that we would be a sustainable and ethical clothing brand. And a big supporter of the small fashion movement. For us that means every little detail is carefully considered.

🦚 Our Makers

In 2018 whilst travelling around India, we met for the first time the owner of the small business that we now support. This business which resides in Pushkar, India is where our clothing is made. The individuals that make our clothes have safe working conditions and there is no child labour.

🦚 Fabrics

The handmade pieces that you see across our shop are made using Indian block print cottons, and Indian silks. For these natural fabrics, only natural dyes are used to create the beautiful patterns.

🦚 Packaging

Every part of the packaging that comes in your order is recyclable. From the handmade thank you card down to the mailing bag. We also use acid free tissue paper that is made from 99% recycled pulp fibres.

🦚 Small Batches

Part of being a slow fashion brand is making sure we only order what we need. We only place another order when we are running low on stock. We have been running since 2019 and are proud to say we have had zero clothing waste.
